With Las Vegas a distant memory we made tracks for lower Utah and Zion National Park. We had to trek up winding mountain roads with few guardrails. Beautiful scenery goes without saying. We drove through a series of tunnels. Each area of the park was as beautiful as the last with colorful flowing rock formations. This breaks out onto a plateau at an elevation of 7770 feet. We photographed bison grazing in a field to the south.
Dude... call back to yesterday's hotel and have them check the rooms for pods, cause that wasn't Mom in the car today. No way. Not up 7,770 ft with few guardrails.
ReplyDeleteyou have gotten some great prospective in your shots that is one thing hard to get here in good old flat Florida but your photos do inspire one to look at things a little differently

No pods bro, it was really her. Today was much worse; 9600 feet and across a stretch of road called "Hell's Backbone". Imagine a highway on top of a mountain with a shear drop off each side for 2 miles from that far up. I was driving. I am not much afraid of heights but this one made even my palms sweat.
